Standup paddleboarding is the fastest growing watersport in the world for a good reason: it's fun! Whether you're looking for a great cross-trainer to supplement any sport or it's your first introduction to paddling on the Hudson, SUP has something for everybody. Our beginner classes focus on the fundamentals - where and how to stand, the basic propulsion and maneuvering strokes, basic navigation skills, and how to get back on the board if you fall off! Intermediate classes and tours focus on skill refinement, efficiency, and building stamina.

We offer a variety of SUP options. Wednesdays are Try SUP night from 6:00PM to 8:00PM; only $25 to take turns on a board. We assign 3 or 4 people to a board, which gives you a chance to watch, rest and visit between tries. Our other SUP classes are $100 for a two hour class. We have a low student to instructor ratio, and each participant has a board the whole class.

Our two hour Beginner SUP class is offered on Tuesday evening from 6:00PM to 8:00PM, Saturday morning from 9:30AM to 11:30AM followed by 12:30PM to 2:30PM and Sunday morning from 9:30AM to 11:30AM. Our Intermediate SUP class is a guided tour on Friday from 6:00PM to 8:00PM, Saturday from 3:30PM to 5:30 PM and Sunday from 12:30PM to 2:30 PM followed by 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM. We are also offering a race and endurance SUP class called SUP Race Training which will be on Thursdays from 6:00PM to 8:00PM.

All of our instructional classes and tours are based on a rate of $50 per hour. We offer a 20% discount to individual participants who pay in advance for 10 classes-Click here to find out more!. We also have a SUP club, where you can store your board with us - we offer a selection of boards tuned to the metro waterways - or you can use our boards for a very modest practice fee.
